  6. -The  Amiga  1200  is  being re-released at 400 pounds (UK) with a bundle
  7. called  the  `Amiga  Magic`, it will come more productivity software then
  8. before and 2 games.
  9.  
  10. -The  Amiga  4000T/060  will be available in November and come with Scala
  11. MM300  installed  on its 1.2gig SCSI-II hardrive.  It comes with 6megs as
  12. standard.  Uk price roughly 2500 pounds!.

  14. -Softwood have released FINAL WRITER 4.  This is another product from the
  15. company  who  bring  you  the final range of productivity software.  This
  16. time  you  2.5megs  free and a harddrive to use it.  It promises to rival
  17. MicroSoft Word.

  19. -Virtual  products,  released  there  I-glasses  for the Amiga, which are
  20. virtual  reality glasses, but the amiga versions will be the `Video` only
  21. version  and  have  no  motion  detectors!, so there only good as sort of
  22. close  up  monitors,  not  proper  VR!, The PC version has proper VR, why
  23. doesn't the Amiga version?, who knows.

  25. -Visage  computers  they  will be distributing the new Apollo accelerator
  26. range  of products, including the 040 card for the A1200 clocked at 33mhz
  27. and with a SCSI-II transfer rate of 3.5megs/s.

  29. -AMiGA Technologies have/are releasing a Amiga only monitor that can sync
  30. to all the Amigas screen modes, it is basically a microvitec 1438 monitor
  31. with internal speakers and the new AMiGA logo on it.

  33. -The  Panasonic  `PD` drive is now available in the UK, this machine is a
  34. CD-ROM  and  650Mb  optical  storage  device, expect to pay about 600-650
  35. pounds.

  37. -The Power Computing SuperXL 3.5inch drive is now back on sale, it allows
  38. you  to  store  3.5meg  on  normal  HD  floppy  Disks,  129.95 from Power
  39. Computing.

  41. -CitaDel,  a new doom clone is due for release soon, it even works on ECS
  42. machines!, ie a500+/A3000 etc.

  44. -Cinema  4D  the  new  3D  rendering package is due for release soon from
  45. Hi-Soft.

  47. -Escom are now selling 540meg HardDrives for 116 Uk pounds, including VAT
  48. these  drives  are seagates with 12ms access times, they are also selling
  49. 72pin simm modules, 4meg will cost you 116 pounds as well.

  51. -Future  Publishing  were  at  Live95  showing  two new A1200`s, but were
  52. they?,  reports  indicate  they  were  old A1200`S with New logos on em!.

  55. -Visage  computers are now stocking the New Decathalon Seagate HardDrives
  56. these  3.5inch  HardDrives  are  3/4inch  high so they fit easier in your
  57. A1200

  59. -Real  3D  V3 is now out, there are many new features such as 2/10 faster
  60. B-spline  rendering,  Lens Flares, Glow etc contact Jim Hendry on his BBS
  61. Activa International for more details.

  63. -Mobile  Phones  are  now  selling  for ridiculous prices some for even a
  64. pound!, watch out though, there are hidden extras such as line connection
  65. and rental and call charges!.

  67. -PCMCOM.device  is available now so you can use those flash PCMCIA modems
  68. in  your  A1200/600  that allows bbs owners to have to lines coming in to
  69. there machines, if the card port is not taken up.

  71. -Rumours  are  flying  high that AMiGA technolgies have subcontracted all
  72. hardware devlopment to a company known as `ICE`, they will be responsible
  73. for all future devlopment of hardware for the AMiGA.

  75. -Also Rumours are abound that in the new year the A1200 will be uprgraded
  76. to 030 at 33mhz and will have 4meg ram as standard, the price is expected
  77. to  be  about  400  pounds.   The reason the current A1200`s haven't been
  78. modified is that they wouldn't have been ready for Christmas this year.

  80. -Windoze  95  is  supposed  to  have  some  routines that delete all your
  81. compuserve  files  of the HardDrive, so that you cant logon to Compuserve
  82. using Windoze95, even after you remove it!.  Alledgedlly!.
